Invisible Children has landed in EUROPE!!! We've embarked on a UK and Ireland spring tour, hosted 5 rescue events and met a lot of amazing people who have become a part in bringing this movement to their home countries. This expansion will only get bigger and better but we still need your help!! Join the movement as we head into our Autumn Tour 2009!

IC IN THE PARK- June 21st

When we started planning our June 22nd event “Discover the Unseen” we really wanted to be able to gather together all of the amazing people who have been such a huge support to Invisible Children as we build this movement in Europe. Due to venue restrictions we could only offer this event for over 18s. We knew that we wanted to do something extra….because without the support of all the amazing people we have met in High schools around the UK and Ireland, this would not be happening. So we have created an event prior to June 22nd for those of you who can’t attend…..we really hope to see you there!! details below. ———————————————————————————————— IC IN THE PARK- Sunday June 21st. For those under 18 or unable to come to the event on June 22… Come to the Invisible Children Europe Office @ 1pm and meet with staff, roadies and interns. This will be a time for us to get to know each other and for you to find out the role you can play in turning your presence at The Rescue into concrete action to stop Kony and rescue his child soldiers. There will be: - Sessions on fundraising, advocacy and how to continue the political efforts of The Rescue - New IC media - Special video project for Parliament starring you - Brand new IC merch available - and A LOT more… Weather permitting, we will then head out to Potters Fields Park (the site of London’s Rescue event). We’re not able to feed you unfortunately, so get some friends together and pick up some picnic stuff before you come to the office. Feel free to bring outdoor games, guitars/music, and of course lots of people! This day is free to attend - though donations are always welcome!
